Our client, located in the Chicago Metropolitan area, is looking for a Virtual Event Planner/Project Manager. The candidate should be able to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills. Please read the job description and duties below and apply. Please note that responsibilities can change from event to event.
- Develop Event Concept and Plan
- Collaborate with Clients Before and During Events
- Select Event Elements and Vendors
- Negotiate Contracts
- Manage Event Logistics
- Maintain Event Budgets
1. Answering customer questions, providing information, and addressing complaints.
2. Answering phone calls, calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and deliveries.
3. Compiling, maintaining, and updating company records.
4. Gathering needed information to submit to the Office Manager.
5. Managing the tasks to be completed prior to, during, and after events both in-person and virtual.
6. Compiling and maintaining records of business transactions to be submitted to clients.
7. Other responsibilities as assigned.
